Tilt & Trim Wiring

My neighbor gave me a tilt and trim unit. I would like to test it to be sure it works before installing. There are no quick connects wires have been cut. How do I wire it of the motor to see if it works?

It was nice of your neighbor to give it to you but what does it fit? Year, model, hp, anything?

How many wires come out of it and what color are they ??

Came off a 1978 Johnson V-4 115 HP. I will get the info for how many wires and colors.
