I have a 1996 Cobalt boat with a 5.0 liter and a Volvo duoprop drive. I have noticed the tilt/trim gauge does not move and shows it almost in the up position all the time. The lower unit does move with the switches on the throttle and push button to raise the motor for trailering, so that part is working fine. The gauge does drop when the key is off, but when the key is turned on the gauge goes back to the almost full up position and will not move when the trim buttons are engaged. Can anyone offer a suggestion on the problem and how to fix it. Thanks.
