I have purchased a 1990 50hp johnson outboard. I know that there is a problem with that model manual tilt and lift. Some people have completely removed the system. I believe that is the case with mine. The stern bracket is totally removed of everything. Can I use it like this? what needs to be done. Thanks for any info.
