Tight steering under power one direction only

Five year old teleflex NFB rack steering 19 runabout

Looose and free both directions out of water
Same at the dock
All zirc fittings greased

Under load at high speed difficult to turn starboard direction i believe

Thoughts ?

My first thought is check your anode/trim tab's position. Maybe it has loosened. The trim tab overcomes the tendency of a right/clockwise prop to 'walk' the motor to port. Try moving the tab toward port, a little at a time until steering effort is equal both ways.
