throttle shift control 86- 70 horse evenrude

the fast idle leaver on my control box got messed up it has two cables one for shift and gas the other for fast idle leaver how can i find out how it fits back together and works

Hi Dilbert;<br />You're right the control box has 2 cables, but one is for shifting and the other is for throttle. The warm-up lever moves the throttle cable by moving the cam inside.

WHEN I TAKE IT APART AND PULL THE FAST LEAVER UP NOTHING MOVES HELP
