I have such a great hull to work with and I just found out I have approximately 125=lbs per sq inch in each cyliner. Man that is good news!
I am so fired up.
The 2 common names I've always heard around here was 'cuddy cabin', or 'day cruiser'.Originally posted by jeromeo:
what would you call that style of boat?
As old as it is, switch out the 2 x 4's for 2x6s with new carpet. Bolt or weld on side rails to center the boat as it comes in off the water and onto the trailer.

Adjust the rollers to hit and put a slight pressure along the keel.

Then,,, move along and fix something else.Originally posted by wildwestten:
Anybody have a suggestion about what to do on my trailer.
It's time to have that talk about how adults don't always exhibit appropriate behavior. The sooner you help him understand that, the less effort you'll spend trying to change everyone around you.Originally posted by At My Expense:
Nice looking boat. It wasn't a proud moment for me when my son saw your avatar. I expect to see some content unacceptable for children in dockside chat and the like, but not in the restoration posts.

Good luck with your project.
I have the window but it has a small crack in it. The crack is about 8" long. Can Plexi-glass be repaired or do I need to get another window?
Here are a couple pics with some of that additional hardware that I had in the garage.

Originally posted by Mark42:
Nice boat! Going to make a great project and a real sharp eye catcher when done. I think that style falls more into the "day cruiser" catagory than "cuddy cabin". Cuddy generally don't have much in the way of windows from the cabin. I think you're missing the windshield from the top. Does it have a shadow or mounting holes from where one was?
