These are my drain/fill plugs

Not sure but I ordered gaskets for my omc cobra and they don't work with thes plugs....I ordered the white gaskets and there not the correct ones for this plugs......any ideas?

There the plugs that came with the drive. I bought the boat last November it's a 1987 creastliner sabre with a 4.3 omc cobra and cobra drive. The drive was replaced in 2015 with a rebuild....via a receipt that was in the boat. I'm doing some maintenance on the drive, replaced the shift cable and now in just in the middle of changing the drive oil and cant figured this drain/fill plug issue lol.

3855081 Is the oring that goes on that screw. This is the SX style drain screw that was used on volvos and OMC during their joint venture. 1994ish-1998ish

I would get the right plugs, the newer style ones have an allen recess and are easier to get off than the old straight slot style. You can get them from Crowley marine or any Evinrude dealer.

I can’t really say but for sure you don’t want water in the outdrive. I’d get the right ones...
