Thermostat location on 1989 110hp Johnson?

Hello All,

I have a 1989 Johnson 110hp110TLCE. Looking for the thermostat location. I haven't opened the hood yet to look, but if someone can answer thsi prior to tommorow, that would be great.

Refer to the link below. Follow the links at the left for your specific outboard, then click on Exhaust Housing. The t stats are #29 in the diagram.

The "stat's" are a Biotch to replace, especally on a "bubble back".

Take out all the bolts, holding the lower pan/and mid section cover, that gives you a couple extra inches of room.

Should have mentioned that. Do a search on here and you will see some other options from others that have had this dilemma, such as cutting out a window.
