Update : seemed to have worked ... Dried good .. I also picked up some Japan Drier . So broke out a new quart of the rusto topside varnish and added a capfull to the quart . Today will be coat #4 .. Probably another couple coats and call it good enough ...Gotta jump on the lawn mower first and battle some horseflies ... One got me right under my chin yesterday ..

Varnishing is done ,thank goodness , starting to get everything bolted together .. I forgot to paint the transom cap so it will be a couple days before the transom will be 100%done ... I need to install some foam in the seat boxes somehow . I havent tried yet but does epoxy eat the blue ridged foam like poly does ?

Zool I have an AOMCI meet coming up in the middle of Sept and I want to bring this boat . Im having issues with the Speeditwin and hopefully the guys down there can help out with it .. Otherwise I'm sure there will be someone down there with a motor that we can stick on there and ride around with ..
Got a lot of other stuff in the frying pan going on now also . I have some work to do on my moms house to get it ready to sell and the stuff around here never seems to end .LOL!

Been thinking on some sort of flooring for it .. The hamster wheel is turning on this .. May just throw some carpet down or something idk ..

Last night at the campground for the AOMCI .. Splash was successful ! Speeditwin ran pretty good as did the Lightwin 3hp ..
Lot of stuff floating in the Suwannee from flooding and storm surges over the last few weeks . They actually have most of it closed down . Luckily there was enough area for us to run on a limited basis ..
