Are you referring to a Vasectomy? I think Quarlesome means a Tubal ligation.

I am not in love with my seed . . . My wife had a scheduled caesarian and the doc asked if we wanted him to take care of it while she was already sliced open. I said yes quicker than she did, but it worked out . . .

Not saying you did-QC. If the opportunity is there, one should look at the options.<br /><br />I will say this. It is FAR more intrusive for a woman than a man.<br /><br />Trouble is a man is too proud of what he may or may not have.

My wife has also had her tubes tied (or clamped or whatever it is they do) but it was a medical thing, not vanity on my part. If I was called to the plate I wouldn't hesitate.<br /><br />Already got 2 rugrats, one of each brand - don't want anymore.

Affirmative on the clip. Decided to do it based upon my age, and our future financial need to educate and raise our two children. My Bride did not like bc pills or other options. I do not like Hog Skins. <br /><br />Since the tubal deal is riskier for the womens than me getting cliped....that was our choice. Great due to the ability to be spontaneous.<br /><br />BTW, used bags of frozen peas as an ice pack. Werked great, and healthy too after the fact. Doc recommended the peas. <br /><br />I was clipped by noon on Friday, went to werk for Sat. overtime. Just took it easy, very little discomfort. The method was a single incision, both tubes fished out, cut, tied and cauterized.

Had it done in 1970 "while they had me open anyway" to fix other things.<br /><br />Had four children and pills made LOML act like the dragon lady. . . .30 days of PMS every month.<br /><br />No side effects, no problems. Removal of the "risk" made things decidedly more pleasant.
