The skiing's great!

Perth is currently experiencing a bit of a hot spell. Boxing day was 111.6 degrees!! Officially the hottest place on the planet for that day, and the next week is looking much the same... averaging about 95 with a couple of peaks in excess of 100.

But I'm having a great time!!! because I'm not in Perth, I'm in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatksy. A hot day is 20 below!!! The snow is fantastic, and fast....

To all the boaties who are holed up for winter --- FIND SOME SNOW!!!, you'll love it....

Let me see 111degs or 20 bellow. Hummmmm il take about 85degs on the water thank you. But 20 bellow is not realy that cold but 111 above is realy hot. Il still take 85 on the water.

your in seattle with that durn wet chill in the air. plus 5 is freezin to u!.... and me!

if its a dry cold. and u wear the winter wollies. -20 is very do able.

its just the 30mph wind chill that freezes yer nose off.... as yer cruisin down the slopes. the embarasing part is when your in the chalet, smooth talkin a sno bunny and theres green icicles hangin from yer nose!

funny how chris is escaping the hot when were up here planning trips to mexico to find the heat!!!!
