I have always found the thermal coil thermometers inaccurate. Few years ago while I was waiting for correct temps to paint my car, I had one that read 120* and it's location only got a tiny bit of sunlight. Actual temp was hot, but it was like 90* hot and not 120* hot

And when we are in a rain delay to start a race, you play with the computer and make pictures easier to see.
Since the thermometer was in the dark, I just decided to lighten it up with a new method I just discovered.

Hmmmm maybe I should replace that pole with a tree trunk with bark

That wave of heat is excepted to start pushing into southern British Columbia tomorrow morning and we should be seeing 30-35 c and up to 40c ( 83-104+-F) in some places, going to be a shock to the system for a few days till you get used to it.

Time to start the crew working at 4 am then shut down by noon if it gets that hot.

The bimetal was a bit off, but is the digital hygrometer correct? I'll get some lighter stain for the column... :0

Whatchu talkin bout? Get one that maxes at 75* you're going to have a toxic metal spill. Add that to broken curly light bulbs and replaced dental fillings, man-o-man.

You just moved the thermometer, that's not fair. I was meaning something like this, same thermometer, same RV. Just add a tree.

I guess I should pull the roofing nail and put the thermo back where it was. Thanks for being a good man, Don I will do my best not to participate in Nascar posts....

I don't know what your problem is dude, but I'm done with you.
I was just having fun with a picture and joking around, and what the hell did this thread have to do with Nascar posts?

Come on up Sam and Don. I have the rare opportunity of doing a job about 10 min. from the cottage all next week. Temps to be 24C-25C (that's about 77 American). Will be on the boat every evening. First one here gets the spare room. The other gets the couch.

I'll gladly sleep on the couch. We had 100+ temps all week, topping out at 108. That's too hot even to go boating. :(

What program are you using for this? Would like to try it out.

Don has used photoshop in the past, and he is good. My favorite is the Coyote & Roadrunner at the RR Crossing.
