You folks must live further north, for me, ( lake erie) area there is another good month of fishing left, typically put the boat to bed for the year Thanksgiving weekend. Often a little sooner if cold comes in early..

Ill be parking the Four Winns after today... We ran it down on fuel (to an estimated 1/4 tank or so) today and had a great time on the lake with it.... we have the Galaxy for the next couple of weeks here that still has a bit of fuel in it to burn off....

Next weekend, Ill go through and winterize the one boat though... we are fair weather boaters here... once it gets below an average of 80, the wife no longer considers it pleasurable, so we call that the end of the season.... we went pretty long this year though, all things considered...

I think I'll do mine this coming weekend. Doctors appointments and such through October will mess with my schedule.

Here people with I/Os start pulling them 2nd to last week of Oct, the outboards stay in longer. Usually I'm out by Halloween and winterized soon thereafter.

I'm in Tennessee and I'd love to use the Ebbtide 2660 through October and maybe into November but TVA drops Chickamauga by 6' and the drop is already under way. The problem is that with the water down it is real easy to back the trailer off the end of the ramp and my Ebbtide trailer has to be put in really deep to load and launch the boat. The "END" of the season doesn't have to just be a freeze thing. I do have a 17' Lowe tin bass boat that I fish out of and that is about to get started after the heat of summer. Everyone be safe and hopefully spring 2025 will get here quick enough.

80 would be the warmest day of the year here in Ireland! I guess it's all relative. We always pull out at the end of October. Temps will be down to 50 by then... 5mm wetsuits all season is the norm...

Had to rebuild motors in both the boat and the tow vehicle. Didn't get in til last weekend. 107 deg. Usually temp does a big drop around Halloween but at least I might get out a few more times

Just when you think it is going to be a beautiful afternoon with 79 degree temps to take the pontoon ride, a mighty wind has to wreck it.

Must be the saddest day of the year !
it was, it was a beautiful day to winterize a boat, it was also a beautiful day to go for a ride had it still been in the water, but we have some cold coming next week so im glad to be done with it.

Put the Mastercraft in storage, still have the pontoon in the water and the fishing boat is going over to the barn tomorrow.

started on mine this morning... pumped about 5 gallons of gas out of each, the Galaxy had its drain plugs pulled for the winter, the interior will get vacuumed out tomorrow, and the cover will go on for the winter...

the Four Winns will likely get its plugs pulled tomorrow, and the interior and cover done the day after... I got a week off, so im in no hurry... the jetski though is likely to head to the lake later on today... its self draining, and still has plenty of fuel in it..... cant have that, and the weather is still "nice" so ill use that for the rest of the week, before the temps fall off a cliff here..

My buddy let me put mine in his slip today. Probably will keep it there for the next month.

The runabout and the toon will be pulled today. Covered for the winter. Hope I get the runabout going, yesterday it quit cranking over but it was late in the day so I’ll have to test the wiring. Battery is fine and charged, starter was replaced this spring. Ugh…

pontoon pulled, power washed and mostly winterized a few days ago. Good week for it. Gotta go back and do oil, and lower unit. Cooler air on the Chesapeake, chilly ride a no go.
Heck, we've gotten snow/ice storms in Pa. around Halloween.
