Most legislators are lawyers. I don't have anything against lawyers.<br /><br />I do object to our litigation-crazy society and the lawyers who act as the predators to get disgustingly rich at the expense of justice with the pretense that they are rescuing downtrodden victims of evil.<br /><br />John Edwards looks to me like one of those lawyers, specialized in "injury" lawsuits. His speeches are all about how he is going to rescue downtrodden victims by making the "bad guys" who have it made (read: Republicans) pay the bill.<br /><br />Tried to read Kerry's plan. Can't get pages 2 through 11 to load. If this is such a great (and passable) plan, what has he been doing about it for all those years in the Senate?
