1964 performer sportsman with 1964 60 hp evinrude sportfour. in te process of restore. new upolstery, floor, lots of buffing, replaced all stainless screws and polished all parts. Boat came wth original everything, including jackets, matching color mushroom anchor, seat cushion from 64 with a woman skiing showing the 9 proper hand signals for safe waterskiing, I have replaced steering cables and control cables and reconditioned the control box with one that I pulled off of a 1960 boat my dad has. Just finished painting the cowling and it came out stunning. It has already turned heads and hasn't been on the water. It was at the gas station. I will attach before and afters when I am completely finished. Need to pain the lower unit of the motor.

1981 Sea Ray 190 with the world famous never to be imitated Mercruiser 470 (that just so happens to still run perfectly with original voltage regulator and ignition) ...knock on wood.

Great question this.

In my time I have spent six figures (Aussie Dollars) on a Sea Ray 260. In the UK I had a GBP30k, Princess 33, and I've also had a Bayliner 2355, but what do I have now?

An absolutely sweet, 1974, 14 foot Cruise Craft, with a 1971 Evinrude 70 HP and I would be struggling to say that I had more fun with the big bucks 26-33 foot hulls because I didn't. As much maybe, but not more. Starts instantly, 50 Kph+, straight up the beach, on and off the trailer in 4 minutes flat, flared hull means no water in the face - not true of the Searay 260!. 4 seated in comfort and great social fishing platform for 2. Cost - change out of $5k Aussie. Go figure!

1966 Jouet Ritz. approx. 20' (6 meters in length) on restoration. An Evinrude 140hp V4 is planned to make it dance...

mid 90's !?!? That's a baby I'm currently tinkering on a '59 (?) 14', aluminum, v-hull Arkansas Traveler runabout turned fishing boat. she's still a work in progress, but lots of fun.

So what's the point of this thread? Just taking up bandwidth.....who cares how old your boat is? It's yours and satisfies your requirements, one would think or you would replace it......

Damn man, never heard of anyone trying to get rid of the boat porn! Some of us like to see all the old boats, especially restored. And by the way, if you didn't like the thread, why did you take up bandwidth with your useless post????
