I bought a 1972 Tee Nee boat trailer, tandom axles
24ft long from Ohio. Now i have to get it reg. in
PA. CAN anyone tell me where the vin # is located
on the trailer or do i have to call the DMV and
get one a vin # PLEASE HELP
It's been a long time since that trailer was made. Best bet is that it never had the VIN stamped into it. It probably had a sticker only, which is long gone.

Two choices.

1. Any previous registrations?

2. Declare it as homemade.
I have a Tee Nee trailer and my vin is on a sticker below the winch. DJ is probabaly right, if the sticker is gone I don't know of any other place it would be. I restored my a couple years ago and did not see one anywhere else. Looks like I should stamp mine just in case my sticker comes off.
Hello All, I wanted to follow up on this post because I have a 16' Escort trailer and cannot find my VIN. I do, however have the old sticker, it is painted over though. Any idea how many digits I am looking for? numbers, letters, etc? Thanks.
17 digit VIN is a combination of letters and numbers. The letters, I, O, Q, and U are not used. Anything that looks like a circle is the number zero.
First number (or letter) is the country of manufacture. 10 digit is the model year. If you find a 17 digit VIN, I can easily tell you what country it was made in (I am guessing U.S.) and what year it is.
