Ted Williams 5.5hp Input

I picked up a low use 1971 5.5hp for $90. The original spark plug is in the unit, I'm going to replace it but don't know what they spec the gap at.

It calls for 1/3 pint of oil per gallon of gas which is 20:1


Any info on this little dude will be appreciated

Spark gap .30 and 24:1 gas mix through 1973 and 32:1 for 1974

I was under the impression it was a 24:1 ratio but the badge next to the tank cap says 1/3 pint of oil per gallon of fuel. That equates to 20:1. Am I mistaken?
