Team canada olympic hockey

Team canada's roster has been set. The only two that i would not have picked are Nash and Subban.

Yeah, I was laughing about how many guys on the team were on that World Juniors team about 7 years ago in North Dakota....ie: Crosby, Getzlaf, Bergeron, Perry, Carter.
I'm in agreement about Nash, he can be a little lazy at times...but Subban is a pretty good talent if he just settles down and plays. I'm a little surprised about Dan Hamhuis being on there....not sure if he is a bullet proof choice..but?
I'm a big fan of a lot of these players and seeing guys like Tavares and Toews on there...is a great thing. I was kind of surprised that Joe Thornton isn't on the team...and that Patrick Marlea was taken over him...hmmm?
Don't forget the U.S will be putting up a strong team too with guys like Patrick Kane, Ryan Kessler, Phil Kessel, etc...these guys are high talent....but why isn't Ryan on the team?

Doesn't matter who's on Team Canada, the US has Ryan (Miller that is)

yep the U.S, has a good fast lineup! i agree that Nash seems to have lost his passion for the game, still a great player, just not what he could be. Subban on the other hand is a liability in my opinion, hes a great talent also, but seems to forget that hes a defenceman alot! maybe an asset on the pp, or late in a game if the team is down a goal.

gg....no team has any player yet. .......(i hear the russians are in talks with Tonya Harding! :facepalm:)

Stamkos skated with his team today....amazing for a guy who broke his leg on nov 1st. sure hope hes in game shape when the puck drops in socci.

I had to laugh when a lady told me she was glad to see that Crosby had not made the US team, she is tired of hearing about him! I asked her if she realized he was from Canada and she argued with me because, "doesn't he play in Pittsburgh, or someplace like that?" :facepalm:

ha ha .reminds me of years ago watching bill kennedy at the movies out of Detroit and this lady called up during the talkshow part and blasted the movie because they were speaking with british accents back in the 1700,s.bill calmly says to the woman ,my dear lady that's how we all spoke back then,the American we have now was not even invented yet,lol.:)

reading some of the stuff for the upcoming games, its a bit sad that numerous athletes from many countries wont bring family to the games due to the bs!
