I can't remember exactly how the series/games play out again in the Olympics. I think its like the World Juniors where you get 1 game chances to advance or drop correct?

Who cares?? Why are you raining on my parade BP? Highest finish wins the bet just like always, if we get a fan from another country then its a three way bet, otherwise its just USA and Canada, nobody wears the Russian colors!!

BTW my low temp was -15 F today and I forgot to plug the truck in.....

Hey, I'm in....always!!.....gotta stand up for the ol' Maple Leaf!
I'm going to have to sit down and go through all the rosters on the other teams...there are a lot of very good international players out there.
I still wish that Stamkos had been able to make it tho'.....and I would still dump Hamhuis in favor of Kris Letang....but hey, the table is set now with St.Louis standing in for Stamkos so its time to play some puck.

...theres a lot of talent hitting the ice on all teams....we are all definitely going to get our moneys worth.
Russia's first 2 lines include Ovechkin, Malkin, Datysuk, Kovalchuk...no slack there....plus that big ice surface is really going to open up the game for speed.
I saw an interview with Selanne....and they (The Finns) are going to be gunning hard too.
I just have to find out what the game schedule is??

....also maybe its a good thing Kris Letang wasn't chosen for the team (much to my disappointment) given the fact that he had a stroke the other day!!....yikes.

Yep, Letang is out for at least 6 weeks! Hope he gets all better!
