Speaking of palm trees. My stepson, aka "the boy," is staying at his GF house. A palm tree blew over and hit the house. No damage though.

Riverview lost power about two hrs ago

I'm awake now. Power went off at 1210 here. Pretty stuffy in this motel room! There's a small storage shed outside and the door or something came loose and was banging all night long. Stopped about 1/2 hour ago.

I opened the door a little and the winds have reduced to a breeze. Much cooler out there too.

Watching the live feed, people in Clearwater right west of Tampa, said their apartment complex was flooded to waist high on the second story level. So the first story went completely underwater.
