I just had a 90 Vmax SHO repower done. I am running my old 2 Stroke painted ss 13 x 19. After break in period running 40.7 at 6000 rpm wot. Happy with that but the prop is old. Looking at a Talon SS and am wondering how it compares to the painted stainless? More aggressive cupping? Do I stick with the same pitch? Yama Prop selector recommends 22 pitch Talon SS which seems like too much prop to me. Boat is a Scout 175 SF. Probably getting close to 2000 lbs with 3 batteries, gear, full tank. Searched all over for info on the Talon SS, not much out there.
