I considering a small deckboat that I can fish out of, and that has enough power for fun and pulling skiers. I also need to tow it with a v6 Liberty Jeep 4x4. Jeeps says it has a 5K lb towing capacity but Im a little skeptical it can tow that much so I think I need to stay around a 19' boat or so.
I found a 2004 Tahoe 192 with a 4.3L I/O that seems to fill the bill for fishing room, power for skiers and towing weight as it has a single axle trailer.
Does anyone have any input, good or bad about this boat? Due to the hull design it looks like it maybe somewhat stable for fishing but yet I saw a boat test that had it clocked at 50MPH with the V6.
