Tachometer on 87 force 85

I am wondering what the conversion ratio of the tach would be if I were to hookup an o-scope to the tachometer wire lead on my 87 force 85

Not sure about this but as far as I can remember the tach on the 85HP is a 12-pole signal from the stator. So you can do your conversion base on this info.
