River Rover, I concur with marc c above. If you can easily open the tach housing up, reattach the pointer making sure it is in the proper position so the calibration is still useable. And if you can't open it up, unless you want to send it back the manufacture for repairs (don't know the age of it), buy a new replacement. JMHO!
