Tach output wire?

I've been doing some research and I just wanted to confirm that on my 1988 Johnson 275 my tach signal wire is the gray wire on my Rectifier/Regulator? I also want to know how many poles? it is? Is it 12?

It's the gray wire, it's 12 pole and you set the tach on position # 6.

I have a full set of gauges, but some how every single one of them got broke... I guess ill be needed to replace them...
