on the back of my new teleflex tach is a place that can be turned with a flathead screwdriver, it has numbers around it, 2,4 6.
i have a 3 cyclinder mariner 75hp, i think that the setting is on 6. should this be right and what do the numbers mean?
That's the no. of poles setting. I just got a new teleflex guage set and in the instructions it tells you where to set it for each motor brand and model.
