Good Afternoon, Got the sending unit for 2016 Sylvan Mirage 8420 all stock factory Pontoon. Here are a few photos of the cross member in the way of the removal of the sending unit. Anyone have any tips to share before I tackle this? I have automotive tech background, so not afraid to tackle this. Sylvan did not help with welding this all into place and covering the area up like this. I will have to cut some of this aluminum (Safely:)) in order to get the sending unit out. Any previous experience with this issue would be much appreciated. Send1.jpgSend2.jpg

It might be able to slip it out, but gonna be tight !! No idea what is on the underside of that unit, but might be worth trying to work it out. I don't envy your job !!

how about instead of cutting, drill holes to get those bolts out.
Then see if it'll lift up enough to slide out.
If not, then you can cut...

Unbolt it and verify you have a problem first before firing up tools of destruction.
