I have a 1985 evinrude (E40ELCOD)longshaft and want to switch shaft lengths with my 1990 johnson (J40EESR)shortshaft. I would like to know if the parts can be directly switched and how difficult it is (do I need any special tools)?<br /><br />Thanks in advance,<br /><br />john
