Re: Swim platform anti-slip paint additive, what's best?
I'll see if I can post up a couple pics of my tests and swim platform zool. (I'm the worst at taking pictures when I'm into a project..... :facepalm
Thanks for the input jas. I saw that Behr deck paint at a friends house, it's a bit too gritty for a swim platform, too much like sandpaper. Looks like it would work good for decks though, good traction. I looked at playsand/epoxy, but I'm going to need to prime the epoxy before painting, and want to do all the non-skid on top of the primer.
I'm still working on the epoxy though, 1st coat yesterday, clothed the bottom this morning, cloth the top tomorrow, 1 more coat and sand it down,,, then the fun begins with the paint and anti-slip. (Epoxy kind of sucks as it takes for ever to cure...)
