I now have a 1986 Johnny 48SPL and a CMC 130 PT&T on my Boston Whaler Striper 15, RED SKY. The engine runs great but the CMC leaks down when trimmed on plane, so I have to keep tweaking it up to maintain good trim.
I have just bought (on eBay) a 1988 Johnny 60 VRO with PT&T, plus all controls, oil tank, fuel tank, harness and even a trim guage. Yes, I think I got a deal.
I want to swap the whole works onto RED SKY.
Haven't done this task before. I think I klnow what to do and how to do it.
Any cautions or yabuts I should know about?
