suzuki dt40 impeller change help with pic

is this where i need to disconnect my shift linkage when dropping the lower unit? it that and the 6 bolts holding the lower unit to the mid section all that holds it together?

any tips on doing this install for the first time?

That's the shift connection. You'll have 1 bolt under the trim tab as well as the bolts along the housing

yes, yes ..... just go easy on the bolts, they break off easy .....

Hi guys,

I've got a suzuki 1985 DT50 and want to change the impellor on it. I have never worked on an out board before, but from what i gather, the gear linkage is the awkward part to disconnect. Any help or hints on where to locate this and what I expect to encounter would be greatly appreciated.
