What adhesive is used to install new stainless cap in new housing

Water pump's caps (liners) are usually pressed in inside the housing, no adhesive required unless factory stated ?

Actually found out that have to use silicone to hold in the housing on Suzuki df motors.
cap does not press in.
thanks for your input though, learned something new.

ther should be a "hook" on upper side of linear to hold in place into housing

Suzuki liners and water pumps housing must be one of a kind, with the pressed ones will find that sometimes are hard to remove.
