surface tissue

Hi, I just saw a video where the guy used fiberglass surface tissue as a last layer to give a smooth surface to gel coat onto. I had never heard of it before, its basically a thin CSM with a smooth side I think. Anyone ever use it and what did you think?

my guess its just CSM. however you need to sand and fair regardless of what you put on there.

Yep, Sand and fair, then sand, then fair, then repeat. No real easy way around it, no magic wand.
