No, you are pretty much on your own to figure out what you need for wood, glass and resin

Read the stickies for guidelines on fiberglass, safety gear and equipment

Scanned those stickies and alot of good how too's there. My questions was more for a glass kit with what i would need so i could have a one shot one kill thing. Then refer back to the stickies for help. But i got your answer clear Dan. Thanks.

Best to figure out what type resin you will use .. Polyester resin would be my choice if the hull is fiberglass . Epoxy would be a great choice also but quite a bit more expensive. Start with a couple gallons with appropriate hardener and some mat and cloth . Get out the grinder and go to work ! If you don’t have a supplier in town than just order online ..

So what’s the plan ? Small tiller or trolling motor ? Recessed deck ?

Low deck. Oars/ trollin motor / small hp outboard maybe one day.. Off season low cost project at the moment. Still need motor for my main hunt boat. This one can be done in pieces. Watched videos on glass and mat. Have an idea what i need to do. Drove 3 hrs for this one way for 50$ and i think glassin will be the most costly part.

Glassin is the $$ part. I know the guy doing the work, he's cheap doesn't charge a thing. :)

I see one major issue here. Sailboats are designed and built with a Dagger Board in mind. Without it, they are NOT very stable plat forms. When I fish I find it necessary stand and move about at times and I wouldn't want to do that on that platform. JMHO!!

it will be about as stable as standing in a very short kayak or canoe..... you simply cant do it.

Even my 1432 jon boat is too unstable to stand and fish. That's why I'm working on the 2 others for fishing and keep the jon just for waterfowl.
