I uh, forgot to open my vent on the portable tank, duh....
It ran good until it could suck no more.
I was mostly motoring slowly around setting and pulling crab pots. Not until I throttled up to head for the barn did she konk out...
I looked and saw my mistake, opened the vent and it about sucked my fingers into the tank.......!!!
Got the ball back up to snuff, pumped some fuel into the system and fired her on....
She lit up, no problem, but now she won't go past maybe 1500 RPM and then shuts off.
I know I might have damaged the fuel line/filter(s), or pump, and I will start there.
She idles great and I can rev her up, but under a load, no go....
She will run slowly under load, no miss or lean sneeze, just starving out for juice it seems if I try and push her faster....
How do I test the pump?
Oh, its a 1992 Suzuki DT 85.
