Substitutes for OMC lubes & sealants?

I'm resealing my 89 40hp gearcase. The manual specifys the following:
1. OMC Triple Guard Grease
2. OMC Gasket Sealing Compound
3. OMC Adhesive M
4. OMC Moly Lube
5. OMC Lock Nut
Are there equivilant products available at auto parts or other stores, or should I order and wait for OMC products?

do a search on this type thread and you will find lots of info
there are substitutes for these products but most will tell you to use
oem ,
there was a thread on here a few days ago .
some one may know were it at .

1. An excellent waterproof grease. Mercury, Yamaha, etc all have good stuff too.
2. Similar to Perfect Seal #4 (Mercury). Permatex aviation sealant with the brush in the cap is acceptable, but nowhere as nice to use. Yuck.
3. Obsolete. Replaced by Scotch #847. Hard to find outside the dealer. There is a OMC/BRP part number for it.
4. An EP moly grease. (Auto parts store)
5. Loctite. (Auto Parts store.)

Thanks, guys. I found BRP part #s on ishopmarine but can't figure out how to order these #s at iboats, same with shopevinrude.com. Would like to support this forum's sponser. Any help with ordering this stuff through iboats?
