Looks like a boat in distress to me. The kind of thing that most people stop what they are doing to go and help once they see it. THAT would generate an emotional response from me all right.

'scuse me whilst I light a car on fire on I-55 with a few mannequins in it to watch the "emotional response" from the art critics as they stop to admire my latest masterpiece.

Art is supposed to invoke emotion.

It will get the job done. It is creative.

Such "art" is done for selfish reasoning, what they are trying to get rather than give.
That variety of "art" is always childish and immature.

Art should always be done for one's self, but to create some type of emotion in the viewer. Thats why it's called creating.

When you simply create what you think everyone wants(or does not want) to see, then one might as well be painting houses, or pouring concrete. We can only deal with so many paintings of "flower in a vase".

Andy Warhol printed Cambells soup cans on paper. Like them, hate them, or don't really care, they still envoke emotion, in art viewers, to this day.
