I’m replacing a deck core from inside ,it was very wet. I tested the deck after I have removed the core and it was still ridiculously, wet , and it wouldn’t dry , I’ve them sanded the inside face quite aggressively and it’s now dry but I have removed a lot and I mean a lot of material from the original csm layup , I’ve got hold of an original layup schedule for the Deck this is 1x300gr csm + 3 x 450gr csm done with polyester and Dyvincell core + 3 more layers of 450 csm , I’ve got a large quantity of 600gr quadaxial cloth and epoxy resin so I wonder if I re build up the deck from the inside with 4x 600gr quad-axial cloth with epoxy would your expect this to be stronger than the original layup ? Of 1x300csm + 3x450c I will be replacing the core as well and re skinning under that
