Re: Still confused on trailer lights
Just to add fuel to the fire here is a link to the DOT and Canadian regulations. As as i can tell the only time that the number of lights allowed being a exactly 3 is for the rear identification lights. Look it over and see what you think. As for the commercial haulers being lit up like a Christmas tree i was just alluding to the fact that a lot of the owner operators that own their own trailer will light that crap out of it as a matter of personal pride and bragging rights or at least that what my dad always did with his trailers.
