Need some knowledge. I have a evinrude 150 with what looks like 2 steering cables. I want to put it on my pontoon which is omc control and 1 cable. What do I have to do? Please help!

Is there a complete steering system on the pontoon ??

Yes, the system I have now that is currently hooked up to a 50 Johnson with only one steering cable

Will the two steering cable set up on the 150 match the length of what's on the pontoon ??

Then just transfer the whole system over to the pontoon. When you get a bigger horsepower mtr the dual cable system makes the steering easier to control when adjusted properly. You could still get by with the single cable that is now on the boat.
