Stator test for 96' 15hp merc o/b

I saw another thread that told how to test a stator,of course mine was not listed,is it tested the same way or is there a way to do this motor that is different,thanks.

Yes it is tested the same way...just didn't have specs for everything at the time of posting.
I hope to update that as I get more specs...and I think I found them....just haven't updated the post yet.

Your 96 should be a CDM system, meaning the ciols have the switch boxes built in heres the system test from CDI.
