starter solenoid wires

Can anyone please tell me how I put the wires back on a 93 johnson outboard 150 h.p. I was replacing it today and I thought I had the wires in the right place but it doesn't look right can anyone please help me

Describe the wires that you removed from the solenoid..... main color, stripe color, solid color.......

some times theres 4 wires and sometimes 5 if 4 should be main power from battery main power to starter switch wire from battery and ground if 5 whires should be another wire from rectifier to switched wire for chargeing

I have yellow with red stripe on one of the screw like thing on the bottom other screw looking thing there is a black and red wire and on the side I have two reds two blacks and the red positve cable does this make since to anyone

ok how man big red wires , small red wires , small black wires red with yellow stripe

I have three big red wires two large blacks wires one yellow with a red stripe and my two battery cables

Click the thumbnail. Negative battery cable is bolted to the engine block.
