Starter needed 1970 merc inline 6.

Can someone here point me to a starter for my inline 6 on 1970 Bertram 25. Rebuild shop has had for 3 weeks+ and I’ve decided to just try to find a new one. I think these are L6 292 inline 6. …have a big 4bbl carb sitting on top.

The best starters are the PMGR permanent magnet gear reduction. A lot lighter, take less amperage and really turn the engine.

Inline motor. 3-bolt flange. Not similar to SBC/BBC

According to the Sierra catalog the 18-5919 is for the 12 3/4” flywheel.

Ayuh,.... That's the straight across pattern,..... The number Kenny listed should be the right starter,....
