starter for a Johnson 65ELSR73R

Can someone help me find a good starter for this engine? It came with a MGD 4110 or at least thats what it had on it. I was told that it needed new brushes but I don't know if the guy knows this for sure. It looks pretty wore out so I was kinda thinking about justing putting a new one on it. Any help would be much appreciated.<br /><br />Thanks

New starter is about $240.I'd take it to a local repair shop (starter/alternator rebuild shop). Make sure they can do Marine electrical repairs.<br /><br />Probably cost about $100.<br /><br />DHP
