Nice work on the teardown, looks like she's almost ready to put back together.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and suggest that maybe you should look into getting a Johnson or Evinrude that's in a little better condition.

That one has seen plenty of use and might be in need of plenty of new parts. Have you checked compression on the motor?

We?re gonna repair the maecury and use it until the end, and then buy a newer, maybe a 100 johnson (we like speed), we?ve to change the impeller and the trim motor.

hte outboard motors are too expensive here in Mexico, used one (50 hp to 90 hp) maybe like 1000 dls or 2000 dls... old one hahahaha ...

Good job trunky, You have it sripped down real good. Boat restoration and beer is about the best thing there is.

yes, but we stop the boat work, repair the merc, and find another used good motor (and cheap jejeje)
