So you're really saying that I should increase the offer to two cases of beer? :rofl:I think you should invite GA to meet you at the sellers house. Look at the boat. Take GA out to a nice dinner. Figure out a way to work it out and go back to the sellers house.
You guys think I'm a cheap date! :mad-new:
Okay, so maybe you're not cheap, but are ya easy? :rofl:You guys think I'm a cheap date! :mad-new:
I'm thinkin' even a GA resident might be having trouble with this one.
Hey, it's all your fault with that magnificent Chieftain of yours! I'd been looking at Islanders before reading your thread. :lol:This guy has it bad fellas

And it doesn't help that the seller emailed me a significant price reduction to boot!
I could use some of that savings to pay a go-between to help out. Hmmm... :biggrin-new:
Haha! You sly guy. But I already figured that one out!Mmmmmmmm. Ah, I lost your address.
Naw, I wouldn't do that to you, BWR. Promise.
Ahhh... but I still need a GA resident to make it work! :lol:significant price reduction tells me your towing her home...... thats a bigger word than negotiable and slight price reduction, waiting for the updates......
From what I've read, GA is pretty open minded about getting a boat registered there. Truly. Even if it's complicated or there is missing information they seem to find a way. And the owner doesn't even have to be a GA resident. GA provides official documentation to make things happen. But it might be like filling out income tax forms... a pain in the backside even if you do everything right. :lol:Could it be sold to a person in a state who just needs a bill of sale? I seem to remember a guy who bought a LoneStar in MO from a guy who won it in an auction and never moved the MO title to his name. The out of state buyer just brought it home to his state and went to the DMV and got it registered. Then did a wonderful rehab on it.
Very common here. We get 'em from all over the place. Snowbirds ya know.^^^ A Michigan registration now in Florida.
