it actually looks like a pretty cozy enclosure...too bad its on an 18'. It might not seems as out-of-place 26'!

In New Hampshire you could extend your season by several months with a set up like that. Function beats out form any day.

Function may beat out form but you should attempt to have a little more style with the function.

I could actually really dig that if it wasn't so ugly and yeah built on too small of a boat.

It's certainly done better than a lot of the home-brew cabin boats but not quite a winner.

Honestly, with a couple of downriggers that thing would be a pretty good trolling rig. Remember, you can't see the exterior from the comfort of your homemade pilothouse! :D

Still on the search for a Chieftain and this came up on Kijiji. 6 hours one way but!! Says it's a 69 or 70 Yamaha is and 84-86 has only been in the water once in the last two years and 10 years before that. Interior is solid but worn and dated, stored inside the whole time. I asked the rationale for his price hes says, trailer like this is worth 4000, motors worth 15000 and the boat is 3000, I'm not taking a penny under $7000.
