Actually for us up here in the great white north, we don't need a title for the boat, just the trailer. All customs requires is a bill of sale for the boat, I was quite shocked to find that out when we brought the last 18SS back.

That's some monster tin right there! Dual IO's even. Best of all she looks to have been restored recently too which means fishing/cruising ready.

I want it, but I can't make a 4,000 mile round trip. On the west coast that thing would be sold and probably for what he is asking if it in good running shape. That is the hull I would like with blown engine so I can convert to OB. I keep looking for one within 500 miles of Bend, OR so far nothing.
I will keep looking I have time.

Looking at the pics, I know John and his strong feelings about being in a safe boat, this rig is not even close to being seaworthy. No knee braces were put in for the IO to OB conversion and look at the sides in the pic below, no panels to tie the sides of the boat in... rather he stuffed in some chunks of 2x4's to keep her from flopping around so bad.

There is more bracing on the swim platform than the inner transom. :facepalm: Is that water running out of the plug? Nice 2X4's!

If it weren't for the crazy price that would make a good easy project boat. The bracket actually looks pretty good, so retrofitting some internal bracing all around could make it a big, safe boat. But, yeah, that price needs to come down by about 80% to make it worth someone's time. Could be a serious fishing rig with that huge deck.
