I have some friends that have jon boats with homemade tops like that,...

They are "winter" boats used fishing on the Mississippi River during the winter,...Some have a solid back wall with a door and some use canvas,....

It's nice to be able to go inside and warm up a bit when your on the river Dec-Mar,..............

I think it's actually a Feathercraft someone has painted dark blue or black. FC's are the only brand I've ever seen on that type of trailer, & I've seen more then a couple on one...

Duck hunting? Why would you paint an entire boat that dark or black? Even in Utah it'd be HOT in the sun? :confused:

20' ??? don't know but looks like is should be an 18'.

From what I've seen here that looks like a decent price for a West Coast SC.

at least boats aren't the ONLY thing he kills.... truck in the background is shedding parts pretty heavily

Are you talking about the Feathercraft not being an SC, or the other boat not being an SC?

Although it doesn't have the diamond bow plate, the 1st boat might still be an SC, weren't the early small runabouts lapline all the way to the bow, and no diamond?

I like them both........... Particularly the FC, and it's unmarred by a ham handed 'conversion' to fishing boat, YEAH!

That's a barrel back and they are fairly rare in aluminum from my understanding.Restored close to original,it may bring some good money.I'm to far away and tied up or I would seriously consider it.It would look sweet restored and behind an old 50's wagon.
