Gentleman, that "Mercury" is my beloved 140 CHRYSLER so you may want to pass.... (though I'd love to play with that beast)

I thought that color seemed a bit odd for a "Mercury"...

That's one good looking hull though!
If I bought that thing... first I would need to build a dog house so I could live in it, second I would have to stuff it in the corner of my yard till I finished all of the other projects that I have been piling up... but knowing me I would start it as soon as the chief was out of the garage, and then 10k for a new outboard...

yup way to much money, but I would be pimp on the lake with that thing. :lol:
Dozer, I'll call the seller today and hope it's even still there.

Last SS I saw in that price range sold in under 15min, and it was not a V5

however... it was water ready, it just needed some seats...

It also appears to be at the next door neighbors...
Anyways I called the guy, I'm headed out today, it's clear out in the middle of nowhere...
But sounds Dozer is not interested if it has a Chrysler on it.

Let's get the logistics figured out here. Dozer want's it and will pay a finders fee. Dozer doesn't want it with a Chrysler. Jason is willing to shaft Gibbles, but Gib can keep the Chrysler. EZ wants the Chrysler, but it has to get to Eastern PA. Gibs is heading for parts unknown to look at her. Are there any loose ends in this scheme?

I offered him $250 for it (my $$ limit), I thought he was going to show me off of his land there for a few :lol:

inside is toast, floors are almost sawdust, seller told he he would put new vinyl on the sides for that price... I dont think he understands what is required... I even told him how much work is "required" before I made my offer :lol:

Talking with him he does not know anything about boats other than they float and people ski behind them.
First thing I said; "you know that's not a mercury?"
